Please read these rules carefully before participating in Found It First.

Eligibility: You must be 18 years of age or older to participate.

HOW TO PLAY

We will post videos containing a unique, one-time-use prize claim code. The code will appear visually at a specific moment or location within the video, OR the code may be the solution to a riddle presented in the video (or the video description).

PRIZE AND ODDS DISCLOSURE

Prize Details: The prize for each individual Activity will be clearly disclosed in the title, description, or within the video content of that Activity.

Odds of Winning: The odds of winning depend entirely on the skill and speed of all eligible entrants in locating and successfully redeeming the unique, one-time-use code. The prize is awarded to the first eligible person to complete the prize claim process successfully. The first eligible person (or group) to successfully find and redeem the code is the winner.

HOW TO CLAIM YOUR PRIZE

Step 1: Watch the video on our YouTube channel and solve the riddle.

Step 2: Once you find the code, visit our website at: https://www.founditfirst.ca. Enter the unique, one-time-use code into the prize claim form.

Step 3: Enter a valid email address and submit. Prize info and/or instructions will be automatically sent to this email address. If you don't receive an email, check the spam / junk folder.

WARNING: The prize is awarded to the first person to successfully redeem the code on the website. Codes are one-time-use and are deactivated instantly upon a successful claim.

Confidentiality: Do NOT share your code online before you have successfully redeemed it. If you share your code and someone else uses it, your prize is void.

Confirming Your Win: Once the code is successfully redeemed, our system will automatically update the video title to start with "CLAIMED" to indicate the hunt is over. The prize fulfillment email will include a Winner Certificate attachment. We encourage winners to take a picture with their certificate and share it on Instagram, tagging our page @founditfirst.ca (or simply reply to the email with the picture attached). A thumbs-up is a great option if you prefer not to show your face.

Fair Play: Prizes are "first come, first served" in terms of code redemption on the website. Only one prize (one code) per person/group per hunt.

LEGAL DISCLAIMER

By choosing to participate in any FoundItFirst prize hunt, game, or event ("Activity"), you acknowledge, understand, and agree to the following terms:

GOVERNING LAW

This Activity, and the rules governing it, are regulated by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, and the Courts of the City of Toronto, Ontario, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from this Activity.

VOID WHERE PROHIBITED

This Activity is void where prohibited or restricted by law. Participation is open only to individuals who are legally permitted to participate under the laws of their own jurisdiction. The Sponsor makes no representation that the Activity is appropriate or available for use in any particular location. Any non-Canadian entrant assumes all risk and responsibility for their participation in their jurisdiction and warrants they are not violating any local law by entering. The Sponsor reserves the right to deem any entry void if participation is found to violate local or international law.

TAX RESPONSIBILITY

The potential winner is solely responsible for all federal, provincial, state, territorial, or local taxes, fees, and charges that may be associated with the receipt or use of the prize, including any applicable income or withholding taxes for winners residing outside of Canada. The Sponsor will not be responsible for replacing any prize lost due to seizure or withholding related to tax requirements.

PARTICIPANT TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITY

We are not responsible for delays caused by the participant's internet connection, device performance, video buffering, frame rate issues, or any other technical or video playback problems on the participant's end. These issues will not be considered grounds for prize dispute.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY

This is a free-to-play game of skill and speed. No purchase, payment, or consideration of any kind is required to participate or win.

PRIZE & REDEMPTION

We are not responsible for any technical failures, website downtime, mistyped or invalid email addresses, emails sent to a spam folder, or any other electronic issue that may prevent you from claiming your prize. All codes are one-time-use. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or shared codes. The prize is subject to the terms and conditions of its issuer.

PUBLICITY AND CONTENT RELEASE

By voluntarily sharing a photograph of yourself (or a group) holding the Winner Certificate (whether through an Instagram tag, via email, or any other way), you grant Found It First and its Sponsor a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and display the photograph on its social media platforms, website, and in promotional materials without any further compensation or notification. You acknowledge that you have the right to grant this permission and agree that this photo submission is voluntary and not a condition of prize receipt.

DATA PRIVACY

By providing your email address during the prize claim process, you consent to us using it for the sole purpose of prize fulfillment. Your email will not be sold, shared, or used for any other purpose (such as marketing newsletters) unless you separately and explicitly opt-in to such communications.

RIGHT TO TERMINATE

We reserve the right to modify, pause, or terminate any Activity at any time, for any reason, without notice.

If you do not agree to all of these terms, do not participate.
